After three months of rigorous development, overcoming countless challenges, and relentless problem-solving, we are thrilled to announce that our self-driving car prototype is officially on the road! Our retrofitted Citroën AMI has successfully completed its inaugural test drive, marking a monumental step forward in our mission to revolutionize autonomous driving.

Testing and Calibration

We are now entering a critical phase of extensive calibration and algorithm testing on the Citroën AMI. Our team is conducting small-scale road tests to fine-tune system performance, safety, and reliability under real-world conditions. Hardware Developments

While the illustration might suggest a full-scale robot, our focus is solely on creating an intelligent driving system for vehicles. Building on our early successes, we are rapidly advancing Version Two — a scalable, full-featured DriveAgent engineered to transform any vehicle into a self-driving car. Our target is to complete Version Two by the end of this month and kick off comprehensive road testing in March.

Software Innovations

  • HOS 1.0:
    Our current system employs a rule-based algorithm that expertly identifies drivable paths and obstacles, ensuring safe navigation during initial test phases.
  • HOS 2.0 — Our Next-Generation Algorithm:
    This end-to-end solution leverages camera inputs for advanced object detection, precise drivable range estimation, and agile decision-making. Early simulations have shown promising results as HOS 2.0 paves the way for more dynamic and context-aware driving.
  • Vision-Language Model (VLM) Integration:
    We are excited about our upcoming VLM integration, which has already completed over 10,000 simulated miles. This breakthrough will enable our system to better interpret complex driving scenarios by understanding visual cues combined with linguistic context.

Simulation and Training with Qubeley

Our proprietary simulation platform, Qubeley, represents a significant leap forward in training and validation:

  • Multimodal Inputs:
    Qubeley utilizes video, text, and action inputs to generate hyper-realistic driving scenarios, allowing us to simulate a wide range of real-world conditions.
  • Innovative Teacher-Student Architecture:
    To ensure our models learn effectively, we have developed a novel knowledge distillation framework. In this approach, the “student” model learns diverse trajectory candidates by absorbing expertise from both human experts and rule-based “teacher” models. Our multi-target hydra-distillation — with a multi-head decoder — seamlessly integrates specialized insights, preparing our system to handle complex driving challenges. This extendable architecture positions us to incorporate additional expert modules as our technology evolves.
